Why does baby slams legs down while sleeping. Parasomnias typically happen in children as they are deep sleepers. And hard tooI googled a little and seems other babies have done this some theories are its a restless sleep they just learned cause and effect with their legs or they just learned their legs are attached to them and they control their movement. Some babies may nap for only 20 minutes at a time while others will nap for an hour or more.
